Harold Donald Don Harford age 69 of Maquoketa Iowa died Saturday morning September 162000.0 at the Jackson County Public Hospital following a lengthy illness.



Funeral Services will be held at 11 A.M. Wednesday September 20 2000 from the First Baptist Church in Maquoketa Iowa with Rev. Norman Hieman officiating. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 P.M. on Tuesday September 19 2000 from the Carson & Son Funeral And Cremation Services in Maquoketa. Burial will be in the Rock Island National Cemetery Rock Island Illinois.



Harold Donald Don Harford was born on May 11 1931 in Monticello Iowa to Harold Harford and Genevieve Cooper Harford. He married JoAnn Marie Litscher in April of 1956 in Maquoketa Iowa.

          

Mr. Harford was a 1948 graduate of the Maquoketa High School. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He had worked as a chef in various local restaurants retiring in 1997. His hobbies were building model airplanes card playing cooking and gardening.
