Della Mae Gill

Della Mae Gill, age 91 of Good Samaritan Home and formerly of 2207 Brookmeade, died Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at 4:05 a.m. in Blessing Hospital. She was born January 4, 1916 in Quincy, Illinois the daughter of Clifford and Bertha Klapprott Miller. On August 17, 1940 she married John "Jay" Gill in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Palmyra, MO. Mrs. Gill was a graduate of Quincy High School and a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Survivors also include, 3 daughters Barbara Peters of Farmer City, IL, Shirley Rellim and her husband Neil of Quincy, Christine Mast and her husband Norbert of Payson; 7 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren; and a brother, William Miller and his wife Marcia of Lake Ozark, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers Keith Miller and J.C. Miller and a sister, Elaine Briscoe. Services will be Saturday morning at 9:30 a.m. in Hansen-Spear Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with the Monsignor Michael Kuse officiating.
