Dana H. Davis

Ixonia/McFarland- Dana H. Davis, age 54, died on Thursday, September 23, 2010 at St. Mary's Hospital surrounded by his family.  He was born in Stoughton on June 6, 1956, the eldest son of Howard and Ann (Thompson) Davis.  Dana graduated from McFarland High School in 1974.  He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force shortly after graduation, where he learned computer operating skills.  Dana used these skills throughout his life, working for UW Space Science, Weather Central and the State of WI.  Dana is survived by his wife, Laura Kuehl Davis; five children, Nicole (Tony) Ross, Ben, Ashley, Elizabeth and Elaina Davis; one granddaughter, Abbie Ross; his father, Howard; four siblings, Terri (Tom) Bouffiou, Toni (Bryan) Stolarik, Brian (Joed) Davis and Blaine (Ginnie Ashmore) Davis; mother-in-law, Shirley Kuehl; brothers-in-law, Mike (Louise) Kuehl and Doug (Cathy) Kuehl; sister-in-law, Amy (Tim) Mamerow; and many relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Ann; sister, Trudy; and father-in-law, Robert Kuehl.  Funeral services will be held at 5:00 PM on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at Christ...[more]

e King Catholic Church, 5306 Main Street, McFarland, with Father Stephen Smith officiating.  Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM until the time of services Tuesday.  Burial will take place in Roselawn Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for the girls education fund.
