Connie G. Summers

Connie G. Summers, age 73 of 1712 Summers Lane, Quincy, died Friday, November 30, 2007 at 6:18 p.m. in Blessing Hospital. She was born October 7, 1934 in Lone Star, Missouri the daughter of Chester A. and Opal G. Butler Guess. On July 30, 1955 she married Richard W. Summers in St. Joseph, Missouri. He preceded her in death on August 25, 2005. She belonged to the Moose Lodge and the Eagles Club as well as the Home Extension. Survivors include four daughters, Cheryl Koenig and her husband David, Vicky Meyers and her husband Billy, Janet Pattison and her husband Richard, and Kimberly Wellman and her husband Kent all of Quincy; nine grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and a great grandchild on the way; eight step-great grandchildren and a step great-grandchild on the way; two brothers, James Guess of St. Joseph, MO, and Franklin Guess of St. Joseph, MO. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Rex, Max, Charles, and C.A. Guess; and one grandchild.
