Mary Helen Truitt

Mary H. Truitt, age 79, of 119 Stadium Drive, died Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at 6:40 p.m. in Blessing Hospital. She was born January 31, 1928 in Kirksville, MO the daughter of John and Pansy Agnes Pope Stewart. On October 10, 1946 she married Lee Truitt, Sr. in Kirksville, MO, and he preceded her in death on Feb. 19, 1978. She was employed as and LPN at St. Mary Hospital for 20 years and had attended Bible Baptist Church. Mary enjoyed word search puzzles, pinochle and crafts. Survivors include a son, Lee Truitt, Jr. and wife Barbara of Quincy; a daughter, Mary Ann Thomas and husband Michael of Quincy; 5 grandchildren, Ron England and wife Lilly of Seattle, WA, Rick England and wife Annette of Quincy, Randy England and wife Paula of Quincy, Jennifer Truitt of Quincy, and Jeffery Truitt and wife Marcy of Liberty, IL; 8 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews, and several sisters-in-law. She was also preceded in death by seven brothers, Albert, Frank, Andrew, Harold, Clarence, Gene and Roy Stewart, and 2 sisters, Clara Rogers and Thelma Lou Warner.
