Gladys Miller

Gladys Miller, age 87, of 657 Pawn Ave., died on Friday, May 2, 2008 at 11:45 p.m. in Good Samaritan Home. She was born May 7, 1920 in Quincy, to Earl and Louise Kiem Abel. She married Francis Miller in 1941 in Palmyra, MO. He survives. Gladys graduated from Quincy High School. She was a life member of Good Samaritan Home. She worked at Good Samaritan Home for 18 years, retiring in 1982. She attended Calvary Baptist Church and Bible Baptist Church. She and her husband farmed for 60 years, moving to Quincy in 2001. Gladys is survived by her beloved husband of 67 years, Francis. Preceding her in death are her parents; a daughter, Cindy Miller; and a brother, Russell Abel. Services: Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Hansen-Spear Funeral Home with the Rev.
