Juanita Mae Weyant

Juanita Mae Weyant, age 78, formerly of 1500 Manor Hill, died Thursday, September 11, 2008 at 2:24 pm in Bickford Cottage. She was born June 6, 1930 in Plainville, IL the daughter of Lyman Odell and Eva Mae Fusselman. On September 7, 1957 she married William Lee Weyant in Quincy, Illinois, and he preceded her in death on March 28, 1993. She was a graduate of Quincy High School and was a graduate of Gem City Business College. She was employed by Motorola until it closed. She was employed for 30 years at Blessing Hospital as the first night ward clerk and later in patient accounts. Juanita retired in 2000. She was a lifelong member of the Lutheran Church of St. John, and she was active as a community volunteer. Juanita preferred to work nights at Blessing in order to be involved with her children. She enjoyed her children and grandchildren, traveled internationally and was an avid antique and collectibles collector.
