Jeffry J. Dotzauer

Jeffry J. Dotzauer, age 58, died unexpectedly Saturday, April 10, 2010 in his home.  He was born September 18, 1951, in Madison, the son of Joseph and Mary (Schoenhaar) Dotzauer.   He grew up in Milwaukee where he met the love of his life on a blind date.     On February 26, 1972, Jeffry was united in marriage with Deborah Mack in Milwaukee.   He was an All City Wrestler at James Madison HS and continued wrestling while working on his degree at the UWM.  He was an air traffic controller before he became co-owner of Dotz Bros., Inc. and enjoyed working with his brothers.  In his spare time, Jeffry enjoyed golfing, bowling, watching the Packers and Badgers, and is still a Brett Favre fan, but most of all loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.    Survivors include his wife Deborah,  4 children: Denise Dotzauer of Minneapolis, Jessica Dotzauer of Sun Prairie, Nathan (Heather) Dotzauer of Oregon and Angela (Steven) Day of Sun Prairie; 5 grandchildren: Kalee, Maeson, Chaston, Adria and Korben; 3 brothers: Michael (Ronnie) of Menominee Falls, Joseph (Debbie) of Eagle and David (Ronnie) of East Troy.  He was preceded...[more]

death by his parents.   A gathering of family and friends will be held from 9:00 am -- 12:00 pm Wednesday, April 14 at the CRESS FUNERAL HOME 3325 E. Washington Avenue Madison.  In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
