Janis R. Mohr

Janis R. Mohr, age 86, of Monroe City, MO, died Friday, June 10, 2016, at 8:50 am in Blessing Hospital. Janis was born November 7, 1929 in Springfield, Illinois, the daughter of John Raymond and Corinne Marie Burch Headrick. Janis was a 1948 graduate of Chillicothe Business School, where she earned a membership in the National Honor Society. She had worked for the Quincy School Board as an administrative assistant to the President. She retired in 1994. In her spare time Janis enjoyed water skiing, traveling, camping, and reading. Janis was a long time member of Church of St. Peter. Survivors include: three children: Rebecca Mohr of Gillespie, IL; Gary Michael (Leslye) Mohr of Monroe City, MO; and Suzanne Mohr of Perryville, MO; 14 grandchildren: Chad (Jenny) Dobbs of Seattle, WA, Janet (Jeff) Odell-Mueller of Gillespie, IL, G.
