Krista Manard

Krista J. Manard, age 54, of Plainville, IL died Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at 1:55 am in Blessing Hospital. Krista was born February 14, 1963 in Pittsfield, Illinois, the daughter of Jerry and Roberta Clendenny DeLany. She married Kevin Manard on October 1, 1993 in Plainville, IL. He survives. Krista returned to college later in life to pursue a degree in biology with an emphasis in research on gut microbiota and its effects on human health. She was also very interested in entomology, and she is having a paper published within that field along with professor Dr. Coehlo. She owned and operated Stone's Prairie Market in Plainville along with Kevin and Sarah. Krista was an artist, a musician, an activist, a researcher, a gardener, and a devoted mother. She loved the environment and its creatures, great and small.
