er Elizabeth Buskirk Kurtz. Teresa had a sparkling laugh and a smile for everyone. She loved to make other people feel good. She loved to listen to music, from old-country standards that reminded her of her father to classic rock and newer music that got her moving. She loved to dance in her chair, and the car, and on the floor with her family, friends, and kids. She enjoyed reading horror and suspense novels, firing and painting ceramics, camping and canoeing, and thrift shopping. Teresa spent the last few years of her life with her daughter, son-in-law, and her sister Linda in Wausau, Wisconsin. Although definitely not a fan of the snow and the cold, she loved to spend quality time with her family and grand-dogs, Maddy and Lincoln, and play online Poker (the kind with fake money) with her brother Tom. She passed away peacefully from end-stage COPD at home in her bed, with her family by her side-just the way she wanted it. Services: A Memorial Service will be held at the Lorenzo Bull House (Women's City Club) at 1550 Maine Street, Quincy, on Saturday September 29th at 10:00 am with Reverend Steve Disseler officiating. Gathering time for family and friends will begin at 9:00 am. Hansen-Spear Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
