Elijah J. Baldwin, 13 of Shenandoah passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2019 at Snow Canyon State Park in Utah while on vacation. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Shenandoah at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will greet friends at the church from 5-7 on Friday, evening March 22nd. Memorials in lieu of flowers may be directed to the family. On January 6, 2006 in Omaha, Nebraska Jason and Amy (Dreyer) Baldwin welcomed their son, Elijah James Baldwin into their loving family. From a very young age, Elijah was known for his adventuresome spirit. He displayed a very loving and kind heart to those whose path he crossed. Elijah had a deep love for the Lord. This was displayed to others through random acts of kindness and his willingness to serve. Elijah grew up on the family acreage between Shenandoah and Farragut. As a 7th grade middle school student at Shenandoah Community Schools, he was passionate about many activities and enjoyed keeping busy. percussionist in the Shenandoah Middle School Band. He also enjoyed spending time outdoors, hiking, exploring, hunting, fishing, riding motorbikes and hanging out with his family and friends. Being a deacon in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and being involved in youth group brought him much joy and personal and spiritual growth. Those preceding him in death include his grandfather, Chris Dreyer; uncle, James Baldwin; great-grandparents, Fred and Shirley Dreyer, Robert and Bessie Shotton and Bill and Irmalee Baldwin and cousin; George McGargill. He will forever be loved and cherished by his parents, Jason and Amy Baldwin; 5 brothers, Spencer, Jonah, Abel, Malachi and Micah; sister, Hannah; grandmother, Cheryl Dreyer; grandparents, Richard and Linda Baldwin; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many, many friends. Elijah had a way of making everyone he met feel special. He was wise beyond his years. He loved everyone and everything about his life. On Sunday, March 17, 2019 a tragic accident took Elijah from us physically. His memory will forever live on in stories and remembrances that each of you hold within your heart.
