Mary E. Merriweather

MARY ELIZABETH LISMAN departed this life April 2nd at Spring Mill Meadows. She was born in Providence, KY on December 20, 1919 to Strather and Maudie Lisman. She married Oliver Merri-weather on January 1, 1944 and from this union 3 children were born, Ollie Mae, James Ivory and Doris Ann. Mary expressed faith in Jesus at the age of 13. She and her husband moved to Indianapolis in 1951. After the death of her husband, she relocated to Los Angeles, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers; James, Willie, George, sister, Annie Campbell and daughter, Ollie Mae Woods. After the death of her daughter Ollie, she returned to Indianapolis. Mary is survived by her brother John Lisman of Providence, KY; her son, James (Marion), and daughter, Doris Ann. She had 5 grandchildren, Terrie Harden (James), James Jr. (Joan), Jerome (Rose), David and Yolanda; 17 great grandchildren; Romond (Shaquave), Jermaine (Patricia), Demetric, Oliver, Desmon, Ebony, Stephon, Eddie, Jade, Justice, Sophia, Kyla, Hannah, Levi, Gloria, Taylor and Kiia; and 4 great-great grandchildren Jeremiah, Romond Jr., Raymond, Rayvaun, and nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.[more]
