Dorothy Dean Smith

Dorothy D. Smith was born to the late Ozell and Katherleen Gilbert. Dorothy was the oldest child of nine and had a half-brother, in which six siblings has preceded her in death. Dorothy went to Bridgeforth High school in Pulaski, Tennessee and was a member of Chestnut Grove Methodist Church. She also worship various churches in Indianapolis and Eastern Star Church was the latest. Dorothy loved to cook, crochet, watch the soaps and go out to eat at various restaurants. Dorothy took good care of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dorothy will be sadly missed. Dorothy departed her life on Wednesday April 3, 2019 at the age of 88 years. She was preceded in death by her husband James T. Smith, son Michael J. Smith, and a daughter Katherine E. Smith. Dorothy leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Mattie, son Calvin and daughter in law Carolyn. Grandchildren Keyonna, Kameron and Kierra Green. Juan Thomas, Calvin Smith Jr., Jada and Janea Smith, Michael B. Smith. Great Grandchildren Journee and Josiah Thomas, Harmonee and Harmikah Brown.
