William M. "Bill" Heidt

Madison -- William "Bill" Heidt, age 57, passed away on Friday, Sept. 10, 2010.   He was born on July 9, 1953 in Madison, son of the late George and Josephine (Moulton) Heidt.   He attended Blessed Sacrament Grade School and Edgewood High School, graduating in 1972.   He was employed as a clerk at the Sergeant at Arms office in the state capitol for 30 years, retiring in 2009.   Bill, a life long resident of Madison, was an avid Badgers, Brewers and Packers fan.   Bill is survived by his brother, James G. Heidt, of Milwaukee; his sister, Sara J. (Gerry) Weaver, of Noblesville, Ind.; three nephews and families; and many cousins.   He was preceded in death by his parents.   A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at BLESSED SACRAMENT CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2115 Rowley Ave., Madison.   A visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m.   Interment will follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
