king in the yard and garden. She would share her bounteous crops with everyone. She preserved fruits and vegetables to feed her family. As a talented seamstress, she would sew for her family and others, creating beautiful designs, sometimes without patterns. Sheila always worked hard, whether it was as a floral designer or an AT&T phone operator. She was honored to be one of the first women to be hired as a cable splicer, climbing telephones poles or climbing underground to splice wires. She also worked for many years at the Utah State Developmental Center. She received her Master Gardener degree and donated many hours planting bulbs and flowers for Thanksgiving Point. Sheila was also active in the Lions Club for over many years, volunteering and doing service through the valley. Most of all, Sheila was a Mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, friend. She was a valiant daughter of heavenly parents and was an example to all. Surviving are her children: Diane (John) Wilcox; David (Cha Cha) Brickey; Douglas (Chris) Brickey; Dale (Nadine) Brickey; Dean (Ann) Brickey; Dorothy Wilcox (Agustin) Mercado; Sarah Haggen; stepchildren: Bryant (Shelly) Haggen; Tanjalyn (Chris) Hortin; Nissa (Eugene) Moore; sisters, Emma Rae Cox and Margaret Griffiths. 28 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Haggen: son, Daniel Brickey and stepson, Arthur Haggen, Jr. A viewing will be held Saturday, April 20th from 12:30 - 1:30 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 942 N. 500 E. Pleasant Grove, Utah 84062. Funeral services will follow at 2 pm. Interment will be at the Brigham City Cemetery, 300 E 300 S, Brigham City, Utah.
