Kimberly Schmidt

Kimberly "Kim" Schmidt age 60, of Pine Island, died unexpectedly after medical complication from a stroke on Saturday, May 18, 2019, at Mayo Clinic Hospital, St. Marys Campus in Rochester. A celebration of life will be from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2019, at the American Legion Post 184 in Pine Island. Kimberly Kay Zweifel was born on May 24, 1958, in Rochester, to John A. and Marjorie A. (Aarness) Zweifel. Kim graduated from John Marshall High School in 1976. She worked at Wong's Café, and then Pace Dairy as a line operator for 40 years in October 2019, where she was currently employed. In 1980, she married Bob A. Miller and they had one daughter, Katie. They later divorced. On April 11, 1989, she married Bob Schmidt in Pompano Beach, FL. Kim enjoyed golfing, gardening, playing cards, bird watching, the MN Vikings and her cats. Kim especially loved spending time with her husband, daughter, family and friends.
