Edith G Larson

Edith G. Larson, age 91, died Monday, December 14, 2009.  She was born June 22, 1918 in Camp Douglas, the oldest daughter of Margaret and John Leake.  On June 29, 1957, Edith was united in marriage with Otis Larson, who preceded her in death on August 31, 2001 and is now reunited with him.  They were long time residents on Hwy CV in Madison where they raised and sold gladiolus, other flowers, fruits and vegetables.   Survivors include a daughter Carol Clement-Stanton of rural WI Dells and her children Rick Hansen of Deerfield, Roxanne (Steve) Schwandt of Cottage Grove and Russ Hansen, Sr. of Sun Prairie; a son Allen Stanton of Reeseville and his daughter Anita (Mark) Graham.  Carol's grandchildren: Kristy and Rikki Hansen, Amy Hansen, Lisa Keiner (Nick) Blang, Aaron Keiner and Nina and Shelbi Schwandt, Christopher Davis, Sara (Jon) Williams, Russell Hansen II , Samantha Hansen and Tyler Hansen.  Allen's granddaughter Paige Graham.  Carol's great grandchildren: Caden Hansen-Campbell, Aaliyah and Kayliana Blang, Blake Keiner, Rylee, Leeah and Brynn Williams and 3 brothers. ...[more]

  Services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, December 18 at the CRESS FUNERAL HOME where friends may call from 10:00 am until time of service.  Reverend  Mary Pharmer will officiate and burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park.
