Jozcelyn O. Lesones - Worsfold, of rural Elmwood, passed away, at 1:24 p.m., on Saturday, June 8, 2019, in rural Elmwood. She was born on August 11, 2000, in Peoria, Illinois, to Jason and Joline (Worsfold). They survive. She is also survived by three siblings, Chelsea Lesones, Andrew (Jonelle) Worsfold, and Alexandra Worsfold; one grandmother, Anne Worsfold; two nephews, Luke Bulmer and Colin Worsfold; and her cat, Precious. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Dennis Worsfold, Daniel Lesones, and Beverly Lesones; and one uncle, Greg "Bubba" Lesones. Even in her young years, Jozcelyn proved to be an old soul. Friends and family appreciated her kindness, selflessness, and sassiness. Always an adventure seeker, she loved family vacations to Disney World. She never met a challenge she could not overcome. Her driven nature allowed her to graduate high school early in 2016. She then started working as a home health caregiver. She liked to challenge her clients at card games. Even in her spare time, she chose to spend it in service of others, volunteering for The Penguin Project and S.A.M.'s. Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, June 15, 2019, at the Hanna City Presbyterian Church. A visitation will be held prior to the service, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at the church. A private burial of ashes will be held at a later date.
