Sun Prairie-Marvin F. Mundt, age 77, passed away on Monday, Aug.31, 2009, at his home in Sun Prairie. He was born on July 2, 1932 in Marshall, WI the son of Herman and Sarah (Hein) Mundt. He was a graduate of Sun Prairie High School and the UW of Madison with a bachelor's degree in agriculture education. He majored in agriculture and minored in science. Marv served with the U S Army during the Korean War from Oct. 1951-Aug. 1953. Marv was united in marriage to Helen Hoopes on April 20, 1957 in Sun Prairie. He was employed with American Family Insurance as a property loss director for 28 years. Survivors include a son Frank (Susan) Mundt of Overland Park, KS; daughters Sandra (Steve) Meyer of Pardeeville and Linda (Ken) Malenke of Sun Prairie; grandchildren Cassandra and Alexander Mundt, Christopher Kiersten and Kendra Malenke; sisters Doris Tennant of Sun Prairie and Carolyn Wilcox of Sun Prairie and other relatives and friends.
