Gina Maraboto

Gina Marie Zavaletta Maraboto, age 51 of Austin passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2010. She was born in Brownsville, Texas on August 18, l958.Gina attended St. Joseph's Academy in Brownsville and The University of Texas.Gina was a wonderful, beautiful mother and daughter. She loved her Faith, loved her children, loved animals, liked to cook and travel and was an avid reader.She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents.Survivors are her son, Eddie and daughter, Mia Isabella, both of Austin; father, Joseph A. Zavaletta, M.D. of Brownsville; mother, Rosalinda Guerra of San Antonio; brothers, Joseph, Jr. of Boise, Idaho and Peter M. of Brownsville, Atticus of New York, NY, David and Samuel, both of Austin and sister, Nancy, of Washington, D.C., and aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.Memorial services will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Harrell Funeral Home.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. 4435 Frontier Trail Austin, TX 78745 512-443-1366[more]
