Dolores Ruth Bettinger

Dolores Burton Bettinger, age 75 a resident of Austin, Texas since l986, died Friday. She was born and lived in Dayton, Ohio for a period of 55 years.Mrs. Bettinger was a Catholic by faith. She was an avid bowler, enjoyed playing bingo and cards, and was active in South Austin Senior Citizens Center. She was the office manager and co-owner of ERA-Bettinger Realtors, Inc.She was preceded in death by her parents Howard Burton and Bernadine Burton Steinbrunner; sister Millie Hobbs. Survivors are her husband of 54 years, Raymond E. Bettinger; five daughters, Elizabeth Bettinger, Karen Bradley and husband Philip, Susan Kunz and husband Bobby, Jacqueline Bettinger and long-time companion, Phil Hapner; and Julie Bohn and husband James; two sons, Ray J. Bettinger and Mitchell Bettinger; and three nephews she raised, Steven Hobbs, Gregory Hobbs, and Mark Hobbs; brother, Richard Burton and wife Barbara; two sisters, Loween Konicki and Cynthia Cramer and husband William; fourteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends at Harrell Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2:00 till 4:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 4:00 p.m. at th...[more]
