James "Randy" Coleman

James Randall "Randy" Coleman Canton - James R. "Randy" Coleman, 69, passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2019 at his residence. He was born on August 4, 1949 in Canton, Illinois to James and Anna (Jenkins) Coleman. They preceded him in death. He married Denise Kelly on August 1, 1998 in Canton. She survives. Also surviving are his children, Stephanie Sanders of Clinton TN, Ryan Coleman of AZ, step children, Kevin Kelly of Peoria, Tim (Abby) Freckleton of Canton, Katy Piper of Canton, two brothers, Alan (Daryle) Coleman of We-Ma-Tuk, Kevin (Lori) Coleman of Canton, one sister, Barbara (Jim) Coultas of New Braunfels, TX, one granddaughter who was the light of his life, Lyla Piper and several nieces and nephews. He retired from Caterpillar as a data analyst. He also worked as an independent farmer and after his retirement he helped area farmers. He enjoyed sports, especially playing tennis and running marathons. Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no services per his request.
