Mark Leon Kleinkopf, 59, of Middletown, died at 2:50 p.m., Monday, July 8, 2019 at the Great River Hospice House, West Burlington.
Born November 14, 1959 in Burlington, Iowa. He was the son of Ralph and Eileen (Wilkerson) Kleinkopf.
On June 5, 1982 he married Tammy Wright. They had 2 children Jared and Jenna. They later divorced.
He was a member of Shinar Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Pleasant Grove.
Graduate of Danville High School in 1978. Mark was featured in the Who's Who among American High School students 1976-77. He was employed at Sirloin Stockade, Aldi Bakery and BNSF railroad. Mark completed his Machinist Apprentice on March 24, 1979.
He is survived by his parents Ralph and Eileen Kleinkopf, Danville, Iowa; two brothers; Ron (Mimi) Kleinkopf & family of Pine City, MN; David (Peggy) Kleinkopf and family of Danville, Iowa; two sisters; Karolyn (Bill) Crawford and family of Winfield, Iowa; Karen (Kirk) Soukup and family of Middletown, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by an infant sister Kimberly, grandparents; Fred and Fern Wilkerson, Leonard and Frances Kleinkopf.
According to his wishes cremation has been entrusted to Lunning Chapel.
