Michael Bloomer, 43 of Malvern, IA, unexpectedly passed away on July 11, 2019. Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at the Loess Hills Funeral Home in Malvern. There is no scheduled visitation. Memorials: Directed to the family Michael Ernest Bloomer, 43 of Malvern, Iowa, unexpectedly passed away at his home on July 11, 2019. Michael was born on February 15, 1976 in Council Bluffs, Iowa, the son of Ernest and Sherry Lynn (Bartles) Bloomer. The family lived in Shenandoah, Iowa when Michael was a young boy, before living in the Malvern area. In school he was active in FFA and a member of 4-H. He deeply cared for the animals and livestock, and participated at the county fair each year. Michael worked as a welder in construction. Michael had many enjoyments; attending auctions and junking, spending time outdoors, and camping and fishing. He definitely knew his way around a kitchen and enjoyed cooking and was never without his pack of camel cigarettes. Michael was preceded in death by his son, Johnathan "John" A.J.
