Funeral Services for Mr. Joe E. Chilton, age 77, of Allons will be conducted 11 a.m., Thursday, July 25, 2019 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Rev. Dee Wells will officiate. Burial will follow in the Richardson Cemetery. The family will welcome friends on Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at Speck Funeral Home. Mr. Joe Chilton passed from this life on Monday afternoon, July 22, 2019 from the Overton County Health & Rehab. He was born in Clay County Tennessee on November 1, 1941 to the late Joe Chatt & Louella Elizabeth Booher Chilton. Joe worked for many years in Nuclear Power Plants. He loved being around his family. He enjoyed wood crafting, and working in his garden. Joe leaves behind his wife, Kathleen Zelinka Chilton of Allons, TN; daughters, Kimberly Swafford & husband Doug of Chattanooga, TN, Pamela Frye & husband Jeff of Phoenix, AZ, and Jody Wright & husband Bobby of Nashville, TN; sisters, Ruth Chilton, and Clara Daulton both of Allons, TN; grandchildren, Tanner Frye, Corey Swafford, Maggie Swafford, and Ellie Fryer; great-grandchild, Julian Frye.
