receiving his Firefighter Certification from The Fire Academy in Taylor, Texas. Brandon worked for CE-Bar Fire and Westlake Fire Department. During his employment at CE-Bar, Brandon received the Phoenix Award from the City of Austin for saving the life of Jack Delisle, a seventeen-year-old Westlake High School student. Jack and the Delisle family became very important to Brandon, and a special bond and friendship evolved that would make for many good times and wonderful memories. Brandon enjoyed riding and building motorcycles. The "DAVE-Mac" was his most treasured Harley gifted to him from his late grandfather Dave McElroy. He was into weight lifting, hunting, fishing and he loved music of all genres. Brandon enjoyed writing in his journal and was a great story teller. Although, the greatest gift Brandon ever received was his most prized possession, Somer Lynn, whom he valued more than anything in this world. Brandon loved Somer more than life itself and fatherhood gave him a sense of pride that only those blessed with the title "Dad" can understand. Brandon was a man of few words and he always saw the good in everyone he encountered. His heart was big and he loved big. We were all blessed to have had him in our lives. We will miss him every day and keep him safe in our hearts forever. Brandon is survived by his father Gary Wright, mother Donna Myers and Bonus Dad James Myers; daughter Somer Lynn Wright; sister Courtney Runkle and husband Brian, nephews Michael and Brysen; sister Briana Saunders and husband Clint, niece Lillian Sloan; brother Cole Myers; sister Geni Medina and husband Richy; grandmother Linda McElroy; grandfather Larry Lee Wilson; grandparents Jeff and Marcie Timme as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, his firefighter family and marine brothers.
