Erma Jean Edwards age 72 of Maquoketa Iowa died Wednesday morning June 12 2002 at the Jackson County Public Hospital in Maquoketa Iowa.



Funeral Services will be held at 10 A.M. Saturday June 15 2002 at the First Baptist Church in Maquoketa Iowa with Rev. Norman Hieman officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 P.M. on Friday June 14 2002 from the Carson & Son Funeral And Cremation Services in Maquoketa. Burial will be in the Streets Cemetery rural Maquoketa Iowa.



Erma Jean Edwards was born on February 15 1930 in Western Nebraska to Alfred Brejcha and Anna Homolka Brejcha. She married Robert Basil Edwards on February 15 1948 in Western Nebraska. He preceded her in death on December 1 1970.



Mrs. Edwards had grown up on a farm and then became a homemaker and had farmed with her husband on their farm north of Iron Hill for many years. She was a member of the the First Baptist Church in Maquoketa. She loved cats and animals and enjoyed cooking flowers gardening playing cards bingo doing puzzles and participating in all activities at the hospital. Her family was important to her and she loved them very much.

Faulkner. She was preceded in death by her parents husband 1 brother- Eugene & 2 Grandchildren- Daniel Heinrich & Todd Kinion.
