s. He eventually moved to Eatonton, Georgia where he lived for more than 20 years. He purchased an all brick Greek Revival nestled on an acre of beautiful courtyards and gardens. Robert also restored this home and registered it with the Historical Society. This grand home became the venue for many upscale parties. Very successful in his career, Robert worked for Levi Strauss as a regional account executive for many years. He ultimately retired from Macy's Dept. Store where he worked and traveled decorating and remodeling stores. Traveling was a passion of Robert's; vacationing all around the world. His latest adventure was to India. He had an appreciation for history, culture and liberal arts. Robert's life-long partner, John J. Broderick, passed away in 2010. In recent years, Robert spent much time visiting his family in Oklahoma and moved to Tulsa in 2017. Described as adventurous and cultured, Robert passed away on his 78th birthday. Those he leaves to cherish his memory are: brothers, Glen Holland wife, Pam, Tom Holland and Russell Holland; nieces and nephews, Sheryl Merley, Gina Stretch, Jerry Walston, Tommy Holland, Angela Allen, Sara Holland, Kristi Owen, Anna Holland and Devon Hahn; along with numerous friends and a host of other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Charles Holland and partner, John Broderick.
