Jerry N. Beals

Jerry N. "Jersey" Beals, age 71 of Mingo, died Monday, April 11, 2011 at his home. The family will be hosting a memorial gathering at Jerry and Sandra's home in Mingo on Thursday, April 14, 2011, from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Memorials may be given to the Jasper County Animal Rescue League and condolences may be left for the family at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com. The son of Sam and Thelma (Crawford) Beals, Jerry was born on September 9, 1939 in Mingo where he lived his "entire" life. Jerry was a self employed general contractor who had many talents but was widely known as a "jack of all trades and a master of none." He also had a great passion for Bluegrass music, antique steam engines and animals, specifically, Chance, Sassy, Bubba and the damned cat.
