Timothy J Bailey

Timothy J Bailey, of Antigo, died Wednesday, April 13, 2011, as a result of cancer, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was 64 years old. He was born on February 28, 1947 in Antigo, a son of the late Herbert Bailey and LaVerne (Lawrence) Bailey of Antigo. He married Jennifer Meyer on September 28, 1968 at St. John Catholic Church in Antigo. She survives. He was a graduate of Antigo High School in 1965 and served in the Wisconsin National Guard. He was employed at Amron Corporation in Antigo for over 30 years working in the maintenance department. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, antique cars, and spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors including his wife and mother are two daughters Alicia Bailey, Antigo, Kristen (Thomas) Burkhart, Bryant; two granddaughters Elizabeth and Laura Burkhart; a brother Peter Bailey, Antigo; two sisters Denise Bailey, Antigo, Lori (Fred) Joyce, Lena. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a brother Michael "Mick" Bailey. A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 7 p.m. at Bradley Funeral Home.
