Rick Dahm

Richard A. Dahm “Rick”   Rick Dahm, age 61 years of the Town of Belgium, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital, Ozaukee Campus in Mequon.  Rick was born in Port Washington on January 31, 1947, son of Michael and Julia Ruppert Dahm.  On January 4, 1969 he married Doreen Berres at St. Nicholas Church in Dacada.  The couple owned and operated a dairy farm in the Town of Belgium.  When he wasn’t working, Rick enjoyed traveling, snowmobiling, and especially spoiling his grandchildren.  He is survived by his wife Doreen, his children Lorelei (Brian) Schommer of Fredonia, Jeffrey (Dana) of Random Lake and Cheryl (Arthur) Gnodtke of Port Washington, grandchildren Nicole, Samantha, Zachary and Blake, his father Michael (Shirley) Dahm of Cascade, 7 siblings; Clarence (Nancy) Dahm of Fredonia, Douglas (Cheryl) Dahm of Elkhart Lake, Roger Dahm of West Bend, Donald (Mary) Dahm of Howards Grove, the late James (Bonnie) Dahm of Belgium, Gary (Lori) Dahm of Belgium, Dennis Dahm of Belgium and Monica (Peter) Deheck of Belgium, his in-laws Richard and Marion Berres of Adell, brothers-in-law Elroy (Sandy) Berres of Fredonia ...[more]

Fredonia and Ralph Berres of Cascade, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.  He is preceded in death by his mother, 1 brother and his grandson Adam.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 11, 2008 at 11 AM at Our Lady of the Lakes Parish, St. Nicholas Chapel, Dacada with Father Richard Cerpich officiating.  Burial will take place in the Parish Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 10th from 4-8 PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 171 N. Royal Ave., Belgium and at the church on Friday July 11th from 10 AM until the time of Mass.  The Eernisse Funeral Home, Belgium is assisting the family.  Online condolences may be left at www.ernissefuneralhome.com
