ESTHER E. FRANZKE Mrs. Esther Franzke, a resident of Luther Manor in Milwaukee, formerly of Port Washington, passed away at Luther Manor Tuesday morning, November 23, 2004. She was 87 years old. Esther was born in the Town of Port Washington on June 17, 1917, daughter of Henry and Anna Rick Meins. She was united in marriage with Lloyd Frankze on June 19, 1937 in Port Washington. Esther was a member of Grand Avenue United Methodist Church in Port Washington. She was a former volunteer at St. Alphonsus Hospital, and a former member of EMBA. Esther took a lot of pride in always having a clean house. She also enjoyed water aerobics, traveling, and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Denny (Virginia) of Port Washington, 2 grandchildren, Brian (Anita) Franzke of Saukville and Kris (Michael Kellogg) Franzke of Milwaukee and, 6 great-grandchildren: Elaine, Evelle, Emily and Elizabeth Franzke and Maggie and Liam Kellogg. She is further survived by 1 sister, Florence (the late Henry) Rau of Sheboygan Falls, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Burial will take place at Union Cemetery, Port Washington. The family will receive visitors at THE CHURCH Monday from 4-7 PM.
