Gertrude D. Ellmauer
Mrs. Gertrude Ellmauer age of 92 years, of Port Washington, formerly of Cedarburg, passed away in the morning hours of Sunday, May 4, 2003 at Cedar Springs Health & Rehabilitation Center in Cedarburg. She was born January 23, 1911 in Milwaukee daughter of the late Carl and Evelyn Boettcher Wolford. On July 24, 1929 she married Frank Ellmauer in Milwaukee. The couple farmed in the Town of Cedarburg for many years. He preceded her in death in 1995. Gertrude was a member of the Ozaukee County Homemakers, Covered Bridge 4-H Club and the Grafton Weavers Club. Mrs. Ellmauer also enjoyed volunteering her time at the COPE Hotline and Lasata Care Center. She enjoyed weaving and spending time with her family. She is survived by her children Charles (Kay) Ellmauer of Port Washington, Antonia (Tom) Evans of Silver Spring, MD, Frances (Daryl) Soukup of Lyndon Station, WI, 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, son-in-law Fred Goldammer of Goodyear, AZ, other relatives and friends.
