ARTHUR L. RONK Mr. Art Ronk, of Cedar Beach Road in the Town of Belgium, passed away at Lasata Care Center in Cedarburg on Saturday, November 17, 2007. He was 88 years old. Arthur was born on the family farm in the Town of Belgium on December 24, 1918, son of Nicholas and Mary Burmesch Ronk. After he finished his schooling, he stayed and farmed the homestead. Mr. Ronk was united in marriage with Bernice Mueller at St. Mary Catholic Church in Lake Church on February 7, 1975. The couple farmed for many years until they retired in the mid-1990’s. Bernice preceded Art in death in 2000. Mr. Ronk was a member of St. Mary Lake Church and the Catholic Order of Foresters. In his younger days, Art enjoyed bowling, golfing, travel and the occasional trip to the casino. Survivors include his nieces and nephews: David (Linda) Bares of Hubertus, Diana (Larry) Verheyen of Port Washington, Daniel (Denise) Bares of Olympia, WA and Linda (Gary) Cooper, also of Port Washington. He is further survived by great-nieces and –nephews, a great-great-niece and –nephew, other relatives and friends. eral Services will be held on Monday, November 26th, leaving at 6PM from the Eernisse Funeral Home, 171 N. Royal Ave. in Belgium, going to St. Mary Catholic Church in Lake Church for Mass at 6:30PM. Father Jim Ernster and Father James Vojtik will officiate. He will be laid to rest in the parish cemetery next to his wife the next day. The family will receive visitors at the Funeral Home on Monday evening, November 26th, from 4-6PM.
