der and volunteer in the Boy Scouts of America for 46 years in multiple leadership and training roles. Claude touched more lives than we can count. He also volunteered with the American Red Cross--Hawkeye Chapter as an instructor for First Aid and CPR for over two decades. Claude was a member of Hudson Amvet Post #82 since February 2, 1991 and a member of American Legion Post #208 for a number of years. He is survived by his wife of 61 years. Claude was a loving grandfather to Ricky Neiheiser, Amanda Neiheiser, Austin Neiheiser, Susan Brown, Haley Easthom, Danielle Brown, Delani Brown, Nick Brown, Ellie Brown, and Sofia Brown, and a great grandfather to Vanessa Trotter and David Martin. He was preceded in death by his parents; Frank and Pearl (Kellehan) Brown; foster parents, Frank and Mimi Ward; and 10 siblings, Doris, Ethel, Hubert "Bud," Imogene, Daphine "Dee," Elroy, Harold, Frank JR, Mary Jane, and Benjamin "Ben."
