RONALD W. SKOW Mr. Ron Skow, of Huron Circle in Grafton, passed away at his residence Wednesday morning, May2, 2007 while surrounded by his loving family. He was 67 years old. Ron was born on July 22, 1939 in Milwaukee, son of Noel W. and Margaret E. Priess Skow. After he finished school, Mr. Skow entered the United States Army. He served overseas in both France and Germany. United in marriage to Ms. Darlene Bloom on April 23, 1960 at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church in Milwaukee, the couple settled in Mequon and later moved to Grafton in 1992. Ron was a truck driver for Kohl's Food Stores, delivering all across the state. Mr. Skow was a member at St. Eugene's Catholic Church in Fox Point and the Rose Harms American Legion Post in Grafton. He enjoyed playing baseball, almost making the major leagues in his youth, and pitching for the Cutworth American Legion Post in his later years. Mr. Skow liked fishing, going "up north" to Campster on Lower Clear Lake, playing basketball, football, other games and poker. ie (Kevin Crowley) Mikulec of Fond du Lac, Richard (Terrie) Skow of Wrightstown, Kenneth (Kim) Skow of Mequon, Timothy (Peggy) Skow of Fond du Lac and Steven (Renee) Skow of Grafton and Jenny (Donny) Scaffidi of Glendale. He is further survived by 15 grandchildren, 1 sister, Margaret (Tom) McDonald of Milwaukee and 3 brothers: James (Louise) Skow of Divine, TX, William Skow of Phoenix, AZ and Dennis (Carol) Skow of Germantown, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Ron was preceded in death by his parents, grandson Thomas John and brother Richard. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, May 8th, 11 AM at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 1600 W. Grand Ave. (Hwy 33 & LL) in Port Washington. Deacon Gerald Malueg will officiate. Military Honors will follow. The family will receive visitors at the Funeral Home on Tuesday morning from 9-11AM. Memorials are suggested in lieu of flowers.
