JAMES E. CLAUSING Mr. Jim Clausing, of Hoitink Road in Cedar Grove, passed away at his residence surrounded by his loving family on Saturday evening, March 18, 2006. He was 58 years old. Jim was born in Port Washington on January 31, 1948, the first of seven children born to Erwin and Lucille Thill Clausing. After serving with the US Marine Corp in Vietnam, he was united in marriage with Linda Sabell on December 21, 1973 in Port Washington. Mr. Clausing worked as a machinist at Orion Manufacturing in Grafton, eventually becoming a Final Inspector. He was with the company for more than 32 years. Jim loved taking long walks in the woods with his dog, Winston. He enjoyed traveling, road trips with his wife and helping out his neighbors with their farm chores. Time spent with his three grandsons was a high priority, including vacations, playing sports with them, taking them on walks to the creek and bicycle rides. He also spent time riding and maintaining his 1976 Harley Sportster. He is further survived by 2 brothers: Robert (Cindy) and William (Kay) Clausing, both of Belgium, 4 sisters: Mary Beth (Greg) Nead of Cookeville, TN, Rita (Ed) Peerenboom of Milwaukee, Jane (Peter) Dutter of Random Lake and Patricia (Gary) Pinkston of Sellersburg, IN, parents-in-law Tom and Armella Sabell of Sheboygan Falls, nieces, nephews, other relatives, many friends and his trusty companion Winston. He is preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 22nd, 6PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 171 N. Royal Ave. (Hwy LL & Park St.) in Belgium. Rev. Dennis O'Brien will officiate. The family will receive visitors at the Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4-6PM. Memorials in Jim's name are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
