She was born to Melvin and Norma Childs and grew up in Lubbock, Texas. She attended Texas Tech University and was a faithful Red Raider fan. In the late 80's she worked at Richland Hills Baptist Church. In 1992 her husband started Schilling Business and Tax Service and she has been running the office ever since.

She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Ken Schilling; loving daughter, Jan Schilling-Bowling and her husband, Trent Bowling; her pride and joy granddaughters, Brilynn and Brielle Bowling. She is preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Norma Childs and sister, Debbie Childs.

Family will receive friends from 6 pm to 8 pm, Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Shannon Rufe Snow Drive Funeral Home, 6001 Rufe Snow Drive, Fort Worth, Texas 76148. Funeral Service will be held at 10 am, Friday, October 11, 2019 at Shannon Rufe Snow Drive Funeral Chapel with burial to follow at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, Colleyville, Texas.

Judy enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her granddaughters. She will be truly missed.
