Obituary of Dillon Stalkfleet

Dillon J. Stalkfleet, 26, of Muscatine, passed away on October 7, 2019 at Trinity Hospital, Muscatine. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 11, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services.  Interment will be in Nichols Cemetery.  Following the interment, a time of food and fellowship will be held at the American Legion Post #27, Muscatine.  Visitation for Dillon will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in Dillon's name. Sympathy notes may be left for the family at www.lewisfuneralhomes.com.

Dillon James Stalkfleet was born on March 3, 1993 in Muscatine, Iowa, the son of Darrin Lewis and Janie (Cavazos) Stalkfleet.  Dillon was a 2011 graduate of Muscatine High School.  He enjoyed playing poker and basketball, watching the UFC fights and spending time with his family.  He was a huge fan of the LA Rams, Chicago Cubs and Iowa Hawkeyes.  He loved watchin...[more]

Dillon will be deeply missed by his children, Gabriel Fountain and Izabelle Stalkfleet both of Muscatine and MaryJane Stalkfleet-Schmelzer of Arkansas; father, Darrin Stalkfleet of Muscatine; mother, Janie Stalkfleet of Muscatine; brother, Damon (Hannah Lake) Stalkfleet of Muscatine; paternal grandparents, Jerry and Sandy Stalkfleet of Muscatine; maternal grandmother, Jane (Ramiro) Hernandez of Muscatine; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. 

Dillon was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jose Cavazos and uncle, Joe Cavazos, Jr.
