Barbara Jean Cassano

Barbara Jean Cassano, 70 years old, of Hollywood, Florida, passed away on October 16, 2019 due to complications caused by surgery. The funeral service will be held at 10am on Friday October 25, 2019 at Fred Hunter funeral home. Terry Danger of St John's Lutheran Church will be officiating. Visitation will be held at 5-8pm on Thursday October 24, 2019 at Fred Hunter funeral home 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood, Florida 33024. Burial will follow the funeral at Fred Hunter Oaklawn Cemetery on Friday October 25, 2019 at 11:30am. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Fred Hunter funeral home. Barbara was born in Rockville Centre, New York on July 3, 1949. She graduated from South Broward High School and continued on to receive an AA from Broward Community College. Barbara was married to Fred on November 30, 1968; they were married for just under 51 years. Barbara worked as a Teacher's Assistant for Miramar Elementary School for over 25 years. She enjoyed learning and teaching. She was also actively involved in church and school related activities.
