Gloria J. Walczak

Gloria J. Walczak Gloria Walczak, age 68 years of Port Washington, passed away in the afternoon hours of Monday, April 13, 2009.  She fought a courageous battle due to complications of surgery.  Gloria was born on March 2, 1941, daughter of Roy Anderson and Myrtle Bloom Anderson.  She grew up in the Whitefish Bay area, graduating from Whitefish Bay High School in 1959.  Gloria worked for over 40 years as a Health Unit Clerk for St. Alphonsus Hospital, later moving to Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital in Mequon.  She was a member of Friedens Evangelical Church in Port Washington.  Gloria loved to travel to warm and sunny destinations.  She was an animal lover, and also enjoyed crafting in her spare time.  She is survived by her 5 children: Tim (Julie) Walczak of Cascade, Tracey (Robert) Rice of Cedar Grove, Terri Schmidt of Port Washington, Tina (Jim) Reisimer of Port Washington and Tammy (Greg) Hess of Fredonia.  She is further survived by her 10 grandchildren: Ashley, Nicholas, Jake, Jaime, Jenny, Meghan, Joshua, Landon, Hunter and Emma, other relatives and many friends.  Memorial services will be held on Wednesday April 22nd a...[more]

PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home, Port Washington with Pastor Donald Zahurance officiating.  A time of gathering will take place on Wednesday the 22nd from 5-7 PM at the Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, memorials suggested.
