had, and Bailey. He lived at home with his family for over 22 years before re-entering the Iowa Veterans Home in December 2004, until he passed away. He and Beverly eventually divorced, but remained friends, and were always connected through the love for their children and many great memories. Marvin far exceeded his life expectancy. He had a lot to live for. Marvin is survived by Bev and their children: Brandon, Derek, Travis, Chad, and Bailey; and his children from his first marriage: Shelly and Stacey; a brother, Roger, and his wife, Patti; mother-in-law Norma Bailey, brother-in-law Charles, (Chuck) Bailey and his wife, Kendra; sisters-in-law Dianne (DeVon) Swenson, Donna (Gary) Abbe, Denise Wegter, Carole (Chris) Clevenger; and many nieces and nephews; three grandchildren: Roman, Lucianna (Lucy) and Danielle Nelson, from his union to Bev; and seven grandchildren from his union to Julie. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, his parents, brother- in-law Marvin Wegter, and his beloved son, Jared, in 2017.
