ared this tribute, "To know John was to love him and be loved by him in return." He truly had a gift to uplift and bring joy into the lives of others. Jonny had a variety of hobbies. He was a hard worker and enjoyed welding, repairing equipment (usually things he broke), training horses, and working at the family farm/ranch. Hunting with his brothers, wrestling, spending time with friends and family, and telling crazy stories were a big part of his life. Jonny battled with addiction for a long time, and we're proud of his efforts and bravery in fighting the damn devil. Jonny is survived by his parents James "Mike" and Sharleen Shannon and siblings: Jacob (Ruth Ann) Shannon; James (Katie) Shannon; Jennie "Jen" Spencer; Jared Shannon; Justin (Caley) Shannon; Joseph (Jessi) Shannon; and Jed (McKayla) Shannon. Jonny was preceded in death by his 2 grandmothers, 2 grandfathers, and older sister, Jonna. Jonny was an exceptional man and will be greatly missed.
