Thomas Weldon Walton, 79, passed away on Friday, November 1, 2019, at ManorCare Health Services. He is survived by three sisters, a brother, and three granddaughters. Tom was preceded in death by his daughter, Susan (Walton) Deldon. Tom was born August 4, 1940, in Waterloo, son of Weldon Walton and Lilian (Mildred) Sires Walton, and raised on a farm in Jesup, IA, then moved back to Waterloo in his teens. He owned and operated Walton Siding and Remodeling (Also known as The Tin Man) in Waterloo, Cedar Falls, and surrounding area for over 40 years. He was actively involved in the Bahá'í Faith for the majority of his life and served on the Waterloo Local Spiritual Assembly for many years. Tom loved to travel and frequently visited the Western States where he lived in Cedar City, UT and Tigard, OR for about seven years before returning to Waterloo five years ago.
