Paul F. Link Mr. Paul Link, of S. Garfield Ave. in Port Washington, was called home to the Lord on Saturday, November 28, 2009. He was 64 years old. Paul was born June 9, 1945 in Milwaukee, the son of Clarence Link and Dorothy Schanen. A Vietnam Veteran, Paul served his country during the mid 1960’s as a US Navy Corpsman assigned to the US Marine Corps. Upon returning to the US, he served as a Corpsman at the San Diego Naval Hospital. He was united in marriage to Judith Johnson on July 20, 1968 in Port Washington. Paul worked as a shipping and receiving manager at Ataco Steel Products Corporation in Cedarburg for the last 42 years. Mr. Link was an active member of Portview Christian Center where he participated in the Men’s Ministry Board. He was also an active member of the Kettle Moraine Detachment, the local Marine Corps League. Paul was an avid Packer fan whose voice could shake the walls during games, and enjoyed gardening and putzing around the yard. He is further survived by 3 grandchildren: Tiffany, Stephen and Ashley, his sister Melissa (Greg) Grider of Port Washington, his mother-in-law Ione Johnson of Cedarburg, 2 brothers-in-law: Greg (Diane) Johnson of Cedarburg and David (Jane) Johnson of New Berlin, nephews Paul Johnson and Jared Maechtle, niece Amy Johnson, other relatives and many friends. Paul was preceded in death by his parents Clarence Link and Dorothy Simpson and his brother-in-law Mark Johnson. Funeral Services will be held at 5PM on Thursday, December 3, 2009 at Portview Christian Center, 3457 Hwy LL in Port Washington. Pastor Mark Larsen will officiate. Paul will be laid to rest at Holden East Cemetery in Port Washington. The family will receive visitors at the church on Thursday afternoon from 3-5PM.
