Frank P. Sisco

Frank P. "Kanky" Sisco, 89, of East Kingston, New York, passed away while in the comforting presence of his family Tuesday morning, November 5th, 2019 at Columbia Memorial Hospital, following a brief illness. Frank was born in East Kingston, on October 12th, 1930, a son of the late Anthony and Mary (Berardi) Sisco. He was a parishioner of St. Colman's Church where he served as an altar boy as a child. Frank was employed as a woodworker for the Kingston Maple Block for over 40 years. Frank was an avid NY Yankee fan and enjoyed watching Western movies. Frank loved working around the house and in the yard. Frank was kind and gentle; always caring for others. He dedicated his life to his family especially to his sister Elaine and her family. He was more like a dad and grandpa than an uncle to her children and grandchildren. His greatest joy was watching them play sports. His schedule was always filled with wrestling matches, track meets, softball games, baseball games, lacrosse and field hockey games. his girlfriend Erin Bradley, and adoring great niece Jacqueline Mary Auringer. Many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive. In addition to his parents, he is also predeceased by: brothers John, James, Thomas and Anthony Jr. (Nick), and sister Mary (Mamie) Sisco. Frank loved unconditionally and will forever be present in our hearts. The family has entrusted the Gilpatric-VanVliet Funeral Home, 339 Broadway, Ulster Park, Town of Esopus, with the care and cremation service arrangements for Frank.
