Judith "Judy" Tubbs

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 16, 2019 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the mortuary. Inurnment will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com.

Judy was born a daughter of Vincent and Helen (Green) Farrell on January 13, 1940 in Newton, IA. She attended Immaculate Conception High School and was later united in marriage to Phillip V. Tubbs. They divorced but remained friends. She worked as a CNA with many local nursing homes and retired after 20 years at Good Samaritan Society.

Judy loved to spend her time with family and friends. She enjoyed bowling, playing Bingo, and collected salt & pepper shakers.

Those honoring her memory include her children, Eugene (Melissa) Tubbs, Phyllis (Eric) Mossage, and Cheryl (Joseph) Raskin; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and sister, Helen "Mickey" Davis.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and daughter, Tammy VanHoosier.
