BERNICE R. MOLE Mrs. Bernice Mole, of Stark Road in Random Lake, passed away at her home Friday afternoon, July 30, 2010.  She was 90 years old.  Bernice was born in Milwaukee on February 25, 1920, daughter of Edwin and Hilda Schoof Gerds.  After her schooling Bernice attended the State Teachers College in Milwaukee. She was united in marriage with George Mole on June 28, 1941 in Milwaukee.  The couple settled near 71st St. and Hadley and raised their family.  George preceded her in death in 1986 and Bernice moved to Random Lake in 1997.  Mrs. Mole was a member of the Golden Rule Chapter #194, Order of Eastern Star in Milwaukee, where she had been a past Worthy Matron. She was currently a member of Zion United Methodist Church in Batavia.  Bernice loved to cook, entertain and decorate for the holidays.  She was an avid baseball fan, going to Brewer’s games with her family up until just a few weeks ago.  Her family, grandchildren and grand-dogs played a very important part in her life.  She is survived by her three children: Thomas (Karen) Mole, Marilyn (special friend Max Wellhoefer) Thornell and Cheryl (Doug) Ziemann, all ...[more]

Random Lake.  She is further survived by 5 grandchildren: Wynn (Lori) Taube III, Barbara (Charlie) Ruege and Tommy Mole, all of Random Lake, Debbie (Todd Brown) Mole of Anchorage, AK and Christie Mole of Milwaukee, 6 great-grandchildren: Kayla, Marlena and Charlie Ruege Jr., Justice & Jubilee Mole-Brown and Abigail Mole- Jorgensen, 1 great-great-granddaughter Madison Lynn Ruege-Hansen, other relatives and friends.  She is preceded in death by her husband and 1 grandson Steven Mole.  Funeral Services will be held at the Eernisse Funeral Home (1600 W. Grand Ave.) in Port Washington on Wednesday, August 4th at 7PM.  Pastor Gail Mitchell will officiate.  Bernice will be laid to rest beside her husband in Valhalla Memorial Park in Milwaukee.  The family will receive visitors at the Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4-7PM.
