Charlene "Chuck" Matheny

Mrs. Charlene “Chuck” Matheny Mrs. Charlene Matheny passed away Saturday morning, August 28, 2010 at Lasata Care Center where she had resided the last 2 years. She was 75 years old. Chuck was born May 21, 1935 in Roland, Iowa, the daughter of Clarence Hall and Violet Jacobson. Her father passed away before she was born, and her mother remarried Richard Morgan, who raised Chuck. After graduation, Chuck attended Waldorf College in Iowa, and went on to teach at elementary schools in the Cedarburg and Mequon areas. On July 11, 1958, she was united in marriage with Eugene “Bud” Matheny in Roland, Iowa. Chuck had previously been a member of the Cedarburg Junior Women’s Club, and liked attending horse shows and playing the saxophone.  She enjoyed shopping, socializing, spending time with her adored granddaughter Melissa, and took great pride in caring for her family and home.  Chuck is survived by her husband Bud of Cedarburg, and their three sons: Mike of Port Washington, Paul (Nallely Kaplan) of Plymouth, and Pat of Cedarburg.
